Best buy store pickup question?

I just bought sumthin online using store pickup. My dad gave me his credit card info then i typed it in he lives in florida far away from me. When i pick up the item do i really need the id card if i dont have it or any proof the credit card was mine what would happen?

Yes, they check your id and the credit card for pick up, and most of the customer service reps are very strict about it! So, you'd most likely leave empty handed. The best thing to do is to have your dad call the store a few hours before you go to pick it up and say it's ok for you to pick it up.  Have him ask to speak to the front end leader or a manager.  We will usually accept this at our store so long as we believe the person on the phone is the person whose name is on the order.

You don't have to be over 18 to pick up the order.  We have teenagers buy things all the time for in-store pickup using a gift card.

If  you added your name a a additional person who can pick up the item you can pick it up useing your id other wise you have to wait for your dad
