a true chopper is one built by the owner, its an individuals idea of what a bike should look like. these so called customs from companies arent choppers. just cause ya got a ridgid frame and extendended front end doesnt make your bike a chopper. turn signals, electric start. front fenders and brakes dont belong on a chopper. the very term chopper suggests chopping off everything not needed to start and run. choppers are bare bones machines. pick up a copy of THE HORSE BACKSTREET CHOPPERS or check them out online to see what Im talking about.

I feel choppers are art projects and not really ment to be ridden comfortably.  So my idea of the best chopper is one that is truely a unique work of art.

my favorite type of chopper is the street fighter...

based off a sport bike, it retains performance, but like chopster said "is the riders idea of what the bike should be"

even if everyone else thinks it's ugly, the rider decides
