Best digital camera brand?

Question

Between canon, nikon, casio, sony, and kodak? for basic point-and-shoot digital cameras. And how does the sony cybershots memory work? My friend says that those cameras dont use a SD memory card like kodak or canon does.

when it comes to which brand is best: i would have to say that canon and nikon are the best. They are equal, no which one is best. But, when it comes down the sony, casio, and kodak, i wouldn't get them, because their names are notorious in bad quality cameras, but Sony's SLR's are a different story.

in my opinion, kodak is the worst, their cameras have the worst feedback, and i could say this from using my friends kodak, it's a really bad brand of cameras, i wouldn't get one.

I would get a nice canon powershot

or nikon coolpix camera..
