Best digital camera for my needs?

Question

I am an amateur photographer.

My price range is $150 and under.

I want the picture quality to be good because I'm going on vacation to New Mexico and i really want quality pictures.

It also has to be able to take video.

Anybody with experience have any ideas?

i have slowly started with photography and i started with a sony cybershot. they should be around the 150 range now. the memory cards can cost about 40 though so take that in mind but some come with them now. it does video. and some new ones you can edit photos on the camera. so it helps with drives and nothing to do and then when you upload them or take them to a store to get printed they are exactly how you want them cropped and everything. they come with about 10 megapixels now too i think so quality is good.

I have a Sanyo camera from Wal-mart.. It works very good with clarity and it wasn't all that expensive either...

it has video, but i'm not sure how clear it iz because i rarely use it,, if you go to wal-mart ask them about the best camera's that hardly get returned at all =)

I  have the KODAK Z 885. Very nice  all around camera. With mem. card & ext. warr. for 130.00. 8.1 mp,5x,video,panorama,2.5 lcd,etc.
