the best looking jump shot has got to be either....

kobe, D wade, or michael redd because they all can jump out the building and they are lights out shooters..kobe is the best at pulling up right off the dribble and has amazing fade aways

The best pure shooter though...who knocks down the jays but may not win many style points would be gilbert arenas and ray allen

Well it depends on which style you like.

LeBron's jumper looks so effortless. When he shoots, even from 3-pt line, it's a very slow and calm shot. It looks good because of the ease it appears to be.

Kobe's got a nice dribble-pullup. His form is excellent.

Tracy McGrady's got a nice jumper off a pass. He probably gets the most height on his jump too. His form is excellent as well.

My favorite would be Ray Allen's. Despite his quick release, the form is perfect. The ball gets good height, his shoulders are square, and his jump is a good height.

Ray Allen/ Jesus Shuttlesworth. He has the sweetest stroke and he is consistent. He is not a streaky shooter and he shot the lights out in the Finals. If you look at him, he shoots the ball in a split second and makes it. Sweetest stroke goes to Ray Allen/ Jesus Shuttlesworth because He Got Game.

good question, ugadawgs. i think Ray Allen is the best jumpshooter in the NBA, (Michael Redd is also amazing and comes very close). i can watch those two shoot all day on YouTube. Ray Allen shooting jumpshots is like Shakespeare writing plays.

ray allen has a really nice jump shot. he has such a quick release, i don't think i've ever seen his shot get blocked. but i didn't notice this until the finals, he doesn't really have a nice rotation on the ball. it's almost like a knuckle ball. but it works so he doesn't have to change a thing.

kobe has a really nice jumper too. probably the more orthodox jump shot but definitely not as quick as ray allen. i've seen kobe's jumper get blocked quite a few times, even his fade away. still pretty to watch though.

i like derek fisher's jumper too because he's a lefty and he has such a high arc to it. i'm obviously a laker fan so i see kobe and fisher shoot jumpers quite often =)
