Best non-main stream Festival UK?

I know I'll be going to a few (Glastonbury not being one this year) but for alternative type festival's (nothing with O2 in the title) what's it to be?

Can I mention Workhouse Festival?

The UK is England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland altogether.

ignore her (Angel) ... every answer she puts in the UK section is the same thing with her stating the UK being 4 different countires, it gets a tad annoying after a bit.

i've only ever been to Glastonbury festival and Leeds Festival

Glasto is far better than Leeds, Even if it did rain all the time

i'm loving the 2 i'm going back to (again!) this year - the latitude festival (brilliant comedy tent, and v 'cultural' with an authors tent, theatre, cabaret, and also a good mix of music - both unsigned and signed bands

also, going to the ben and jerrys ice-cream festival in hyde park :D all the ice-cream you can eat, plus things like toe-wrestling and a helter-skelter!
