Question:

Best present for a wedding?

My neighbor is getting married in September and I have no idea what to get for her!

I work at a pizza place, making like 70 bucks every 2 weeks.

What can I afford to get for her?

(i'm still in high school, thus the c**p job)

  1. "I'm still in high school, thus the c**p job" -- LOL

I would go to Target and pick out a couple pictures frames for them for their wedding photos. Or even a wedding photo album. Not expensive and will definitely be used!

  2. Just get her a card.  I don't think anyone would or is expecting you to buy a present for them.  A card is plenty from a young student.

It's so sweet of you to want to get them something though!

  3. You could order personalized stationary online like at vistaprint.com

I did this for a recent bride. All the stationary had her new last name on it. I spent with the shipping just under 20 bucks.

  4. if you've got a digital camera, start taking pictures of everything she's doing for the wedding, doing the invitation, (even mailing them) holding hands with her fiance, anything you can, and at the wedding shower (if you're invited) take some more then get a scrapbook and put it together for the wedding. It will be like a reminder of all the plans she made that she really won't remember doing. Just try not to be paperzzi like about it (no sneaking in the bushes or popping out of trash cans)

  5. get her a nice picture frame or photo album.  if they are registered anywhere, check their registry and look for the gifts under $20.  any gift will be greatly appreciated, especially since they know you're making very little and still in high school.

btw, i personally think it's very kind of you to want to get them something.  not all teens would do that!

  6. make her something, thats the best, like a braclet or earings or pretty much home made things.

  7. Your neighbor is well aware of your financial circumstances.

In truth, your very best wishes is all that even expected.

How about offering to take in her mail and water the plants while she's on honeymoon?

  8. Just get like a $20 gift card to bed, bath and beyond or something if you are not creative enough to make something (like me). After all, it is only your neighbor, not a family member! And trust me, they will love it.

  9. I tend to think personalized gifts are really nice!

    Try

  10. You could also make her personalized address labels, with her new last name on them. I did that for my sister in law and she loved having them, I used a cute couple picture too. Otherwise a nice picture frame would be good. Could get one for under $15
