  1. I agree with O'Meara.

Joe Montana was the best. His "prime" was his entire career. Here is a case where I will encourage you to vote for someone else. If they aren't talking Montana, they don't know what they are talking about.

I'm an old school Redskins fan, but wouldn't deny that Joe Montana was the best of all time.

  2. tom brady

  3. Rex Grossman...HAHAHA.....I wish!!!

Peyton Manning is untouchable, and still in his prime!! Records will fall, for sure!!

  4. Brady Brady Brady!!!

Tom Brady is unstopable now...he has records, rings, amazing stats everything.

    Tom Brady is the best!!

I dont care what you all think, looking at the facts it's Tom Brady.

  5. I had Brett Favre's name in my head once I clicked the link. Glad you chose him too!

  6. Joe Montana through the 80's

4 superbowl 4 superbowl wins (tied Record)

4 superbowl 3 Superbowl Mvps(Record) (Jerry Rice got other)

35 Td in the regular season means nothing the only time that really counts is the playoffs and superbowl!

ZERO interceptions in 4 Superbowls 11 TD

Favre Might be 3rd but not 1st

  7. Apparently, you're all too young to remember the Greatest Quarterback of all time. Even in decline a dangerous passer and shrewd tactician. The Best Quarterback Ever, and the Quarterback all others aspire to be, the Quarterback they are all compared to Was and Is the Late Johnny Unitas of the Baltimore Colts. Then comes Peyton Manning, then all the rest...

  8. Chad Pennington even though he is now a dolphin he does hold an NFL record that not Favre or Manning will never hold and that is he is the most accurate passer in the league and he never left his prime.

  9. John Elway in the 80's carried 3 teams that had no business being in the playoffs to the Super Bowl. He was the only reason that the Broncos seemed good. There was an article in Sports Illustrated once that said if you were to switch John Elway and Joe Montana teams that Montana would never see a Super Bowl and Elway would have won about 6. I wish I still had that magazine.

  10. T0M BRADYYYYY

  11. Dan Marino

  12. Peyton Manning hands down

  13. Mcnabb is his early 5ish years. He was a leader, with an average-bad team. He could run, be agile and throw like tom brady.

  14. What rules?

Take any QB from 1958, tell him that receivers can not be breathed on after 5 yards (instead of only when the ball is in the air).  Then tell him the rush can not: 1. hit him in the head, ever; 2. grab his legs below the knees, ever. 3. hit him after he throws, unless they are air born or blocked into him.  Then watch him smile.:)

Personally I'm taking Unitas 58-60, can Ray Berry (WR) take advantage of those pro-passing rules too?:)

  15. Joe Montana simply the best QB of all time,

    followed closely by Johnny Unitas.

  16. it's hard to say, because peyton mannings still in his prime.  other than the 3 straight MVPs, i think he'll break all of Favre's records.

He's the best quarterback out there.  i think he understands the nuances and technicalities of the position much more than everyone else.   some others are really gifted and are really good...but Peyton's like a scientist out there.  he reads defenses and calls audibles on the line that embarrass the defense.  no one else plays with the same style because they don't get the game like he does.  when he's done, he'll be one of the 5 best QBs of all time, if not THE best.

  17. Every year John Elway played was better than anybody else in their prime. This is coming from a Chiefs fan that despises the Broncos and used to wish Elway would break his leg or something. I witness more 4th quarter comebacks by him than any other QB. Early in his career he nearly single handedly led a mediocre team to the Super Bowl 4 times where they lost because at that level a one man team isn't good enough.  Late in his career when he finally got some talent he led his team to 2 Super Bowl victorys. That makes a total of 6 Super Bowl appearances.  He was tough, big , rocket arm, mobile, could throw on the run, and was the best at orchestrating a comeback.

  18. I know I will get thumbs down...don't care.

I think Steve Young was the best QB ever...and I am not even a niner fan.
