...durability and playability? I use a Babolat Aeropro drive + and i play for about 2 hours 2-3x a week. I used to use prince syntheitc gut but they broke every other week. Ive heard that polyesters like luxilon are good but are hard on the arms. I'd also like it if they werent too expensive either. Anyone have any good suggestions? And if possbile list any hybrids that fit the above description thanks =D

  1. A good string for price and spin would be SIGNUM PRO POLY PLASMA.

But a decent Hybrid mix would be PRO HURRICANE TOUR x VS TOUCH used by andy roddick. NOTE(VS touch is natural gut and will hurt ur wallet. For a full racket resting of VS touch would cost $90 - $100).

Also Luxion Bigbanger Provides lots of spin and accuracy.

  2. Go with a hybrid job.   One of the best set ups would be Signum Pro Poly Plasma (SPPP) 17L gauge at 55 lbs in the mains and any cheap syn gut such as Babolat Super Fine Play 17gauge in the crosses at 60lbs.  You will find them very durable and playable.  Trust me, you will not be breaking the poly mains as often as you are now and you'll enjoy the feel of the combination of strings.   If you are such a big hitter that you do break the l7L mains, go to a 17 or 16 gauge SPPP main.

    Good luck.

  3. I think you should go with Luxilon timo's they're lighter on the arm unlike the luxilon Alu power. they really are wonderful strings but after playing with them it HURTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOOOO MUCHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I use the same racquet but with cortex but its not too much help.

I would recommend Babolat hybrids they're pretty good.

and maybe string down ur tension a lil bit if you go with the Luxilons.

  4. If you ask me, I would recommend you use Prince Recoils. Their durable because they are coated with a slick material which realligns the strings, and minimize the notching of the strings,; which leads to longer string life. But since you used synthetic guts like I did, and it takes you that long to break your stings, then string tension matenience is going to be a problem. Currently I play with Kevelar stings and they last me roughly about 2.5-3 weeks (with string savers), and their strung at 50 lbs. Within a mere few weeks, the strings can loose up to 10-15 lbs. That much lbs lost will s***w you, but since you hopefully will use Recoils, they hold their tension better. Guessing that you string you strings at 58-63 lbs the lowest they will go before breaking is about 50 lbs. This is still a reasonable tension, and you'll still get some control
