Best way to manage money?

I've been using my savings and my checking accounts. I'm saving up for a plane ticket to spend my fiance's leave with him for Christmas. I get paid at my job every Saturday at least $200. Seeing that I have until late October or middle November until I'll have to buy my ticket, how should I save the money for the ticket in my savings? I have $166 in my savings now. I have $12.05 in my checking now because I had to buy uniform items for school. I'm getting paid $234 tomorrow. Should I transfer $50 more dollars into my checking and put all of my check into savings tomorrow, leaving $350, or should I leave it alone and just put all of my check into savings, leaving $400? I mean I have more that enough time to save up.

  1. put all your money into your savings account, this way they pay you interest, don't close your checking account,you can use it later when you get back. put all of your paychecks in savings except for $75 each week, this'll be for gass & food, unless you have to pay rent, then pay all of your bills on time everytime, & put what's left into saveings, this way you'll have extra money to spend when you get to you're destination, extra money for souvigneers or gifts or whatever.
