  1. Leave the dad in untill the fry are free swiming. Also, you don't need to feed them untill they are free swimming. They are still absorbing their yolk sacks. Once they are free swiming, liquid food is not the best. It pollutes the water to much. If you can not get baby brineshrimp or microworms. Hard boil an egg and mash the yolk up very fine into powder and feed that to the fry. But they do best with either brineshrimp or microworms. Also, if there is fungus cuz of the dead plant, take the plant out!! Ok, thats all you need to know, good luck with your babies!=)

  2. sure!!!!

    insects feeds on liqued

  3. You need to leave the male in the tank until the fry are free swimming (moving about the tank on their own).  Until then they need their father to retrieve them from the bottom of the tank and put them back in the bubblenest.  You need to remove the snail or snails from the tank or they will eat your betta fry.  Don't feed the fry until they are moving about on their own, then feed them live food.  They won't recognize liquid food as edible, it has to be something alive and moving to trigger their predatory instinct and get them to eat.  You should have had a culture of live food started before you bred your bettas.  Make sure you are feeding your male betta so he won't get so hungry he eats his fry.
