Big issue?

Question

I know its a weird question but what is in the big issue magazine, i walk past people in town selling them all the time but have never brought one. Now im wondering whats in it?

Interviews with celebrities, articles on things that are affecting people like poverty, it has loads of advertisements advertising holidays like going to walk to the Great Wall of China e.t.c, at the end it also has short stories and poems.  It's great.  I usually buy it.  You should buy one just to see if you like it.

Don't know, i've seen people trying to sell them, but i've never seen anyone buy one though!

The big issue is a weekly magazine in September 1991, the basic concept of providing the means to a legitimate income for some of societies most vulnerable people – the homeless. In 1995 it became a  registered charity.

They help their staff to apply for housing, get help with drink and drug problems to settin up bank accounts. They also try to help people before they end up homeless.

Magazine has cartoons, articles about the homeless and what society is doing to tackle a variety of issues as well as recap on the weeks news

I buy a coffee for the guy that I pass in the mornings. lol

its just a magazine which is sold by  homeless people (who arnt now) to raise money for homeless people...
