Billards/Pool - Who Else Plays?

Question

I think I'm becoming addicted to billards/pool! We have a billards room in our house and I'm in there just way too much. I keep bugging my husband to play, and he's getting sick of it. lol I've keep inviting friends over just to play pool too. I think they are starting to get sick of me. lmao Who else love this game?

Pool is a fantastic game. I am in college and it is becoming a problem for me. I play about 20 hours a week when in school and most of those are at night. So, needless to say, I have to cut back some.

Long before I had a single clue about the finer points of the game, I instantly LOVED the sensation of swinging a pool cue and hitting balls ----I was only 8-9 years old. I never stopped playing the game. I've been playing for almost 40 years.

I had a fascination with the game before playing it. My neighbor had a pool table, but I only went over there a couple times to play. But I tried to watch as much on tv as I could and I started to see some of the more creative shots. And then my dad bought me a couple books on the game. Of course, theory only takes you so far. Luckily, I was able to start playing a lot more when I got to college and the game was more accessible.

Im only 11 and I play. My dad taught me and I can beat him!!!

I am a life long player as well. It has gotten me in trouble over the years, It has cost me jobs/ girlfriends. It like when your in the middle of a match and it's 6 am and you have to be at work at 7 am sometimes you just don't make it to work, or your girlfriend tells you it's ether me or pool, of course I chose pool.

Pool is my life.
