A female frog has a genetic trait that prevents it from producing eggs. How likely is it that this trait will spread through the frog population? Please explain. Thanks in advance.

Well, SHE can't pass on the trait since she can't reproduce at all if she can't produce eggs!

Unlikely -- unless it's a recessive and confers some reproductive advantage in heterozygotes.

It is extremely unlikely to impossible that she would spread this trait through the population.  Genetic traits are passed on through offspring, meaning that she could not spread this trait or pass it on, because being unable to produce eggs she cannot produce offspring.
