My birthdays comign up im turning 14 .. (finally)

.. I dont kno what to do i dont wanna throw a BIG PARTY.

something casual, but cool.. I was thinking inviting 3-4 of my friends over to ym house to bake a cake & stuff you kno.

But i have another problem.. My moms not a big fond of parties..

ive never had one with friends its always been family.. and like i think i want one dis year, even tho she said for my 16th bday i can throw a big partyy, but still hwo do i tell her? .. and what should i do if i can have one..

ugh sad but beg i mean its ur life its ur birthday ur the one turning 14 am i right so then ? if that doesn't work out tell her ur spending the day with friends have fun b rebellious

You should be honest and straight forward when telling your mom. Try and not make it seem like it's life or death. Give her options and ask her opinion.

If you want to just do it with a handful of friends you can go to a theme park for a day and come back.

If that's a bit too expensive, you can stay at home and play some party games. Baking cakes and other sweet things is always fun too. Don't forget to have some music to dance.
