Biscuits vs potato chips ?

why do some biscuits have small holes in them? whereas potato chips do not have holes in them?

  1. The chemical reactions in the biscuits while their baking cause air bubbles to form, making holes.  Potato chips are simply fried; they don't have those chemical processes.


  2. because biscuits are made from flour and butter, whereas potato chips are made from potatoes...

  3. Are you talking about American biscuits made out of bread like a sausage and egg biscuit, or a cookie like in England.
