is this even safe at all? because i dont want it to effect my computer in anyway, like limewire did, any help?

Torrents are way safer, just know what you are looking for and what you want to download. The only thing to watch out for is the websites you visit to get the link for the torrents, some of those might be kind of sketchy.

Torrents are generally safer because you know what you are downloading, it doesn't open up your system, and you can read reviews before you download.
