Black Skirt Tetras Spawning

Question

I have 3 black skirt tetras and 3 white skirts...

one white skirt male was spawning with a black skirt female this morning, but i had to go to work so i couldnt watch over them. Now that im back it looks like all the eggs have been eaten except for three. (that i can see)

can i take the plant they are attached too and move it into a 2 gallon fully cycled aquarium? or will that kill them?

i cant move the parents because all the fish wouldnt fit in my 2 gallon.

help please! the is my first time having my fish actually spawn!!

I would move them in a cup that way they would not get exposed to air. Good luck with the babies!

Also, the parents probably helped eat the eggs, so do not move them in there to. They are a type of fish that does not protect there young!
