Blackberry Curve problems with internet access

Question

Ok so I just got a blackberry curve phone and it's apparently all set up. But when I try to get on the browser (internet) it keeps showing a log in box and a password box....that's it. Is there anyway that I can get on persay "google" or "yahoo"? And what is that log-in box all about?

the log in box is the email icon. they can get mixed up sometimes. just take the battery out for 30 sec and try again
