  1. always new cards.

  2. I think this really depends on the policy of the casinos.

    Regarding Single-Deck Blackjack:

The dealer usually anticipates when the cards are running low and will shuffle. Keep in mind that dealers can choose to shuffle the deck at any point they want. If they sense that your bets are irregular then they can shuffle. Some places, have a spare deck so once the playing deck is used they switch and auto shuffles the used deck so as not to interrupt the pace of the game.

    Regarding Multi-Deck Blackjack:

Again, this is dependent on casino policy. Some casinos will discard used deck, some will shuffle once all the decks are played. Again, the dealer has the right to shuffle after each play.

  3. Generally casinos will never shuffle after every hand, unless they are very paranoid and you are playing single deck at a full table.

Most games are multiple deck games which consist of up to 8 decks (called a shoe) The cards are dealt from the 4/6/8 deck stack as hands are played and stacked in a seprate stack called the discard tray, there is a "cut card" somewhere near the bottom of the stack(the shoe) which is typically yellow or green and made of plastic, when that card is dealth the dealer shuffles all the cards back together and starts over.

That is typical operating procedure for multideck in casinos, but there are other things that can trigger shuffles

  4. It depends but the standard is to shuffle them back into the shoe. After so many rounds the cards are replaced with brand new decks.

  5. O.K here it is. You shuffle the cards. You take one of the jokers face up and slide it in to the deck. When you get to the joker you finish the hand and shuffle.

  6. They play with 6-8 decks and discard Evey hand. When the deck are finished they reshuffled all the decks together
