My baby is now 8 weeks old and I am still bleeding. I have not been to the doctor due to scheduling problems on his part. I just want to know if there is anything could be wrong. I have no cramping.... nothing except bloating.

  1. i think its ok... i had a baby in dec and didnt not stop bleeding till about 10 weeks after...if u get big thick clots then then this is a sign to do to the docs...if you worried tho i would speak to ur g.p or you midwife!

  2. every woman body is diffrent and after having babby ,you normal have period one month ,there nothing you did wrong at all, that your period will last one month ,and then after you should be on normale period, call the doctor and see what you can take for your except bloating,

  3. I would imagine its all ok unless you are bleeding very heavily or having abnormal clots. Every womans body is differnet and heals at differnt speeds. you may also have gone straight into a period after a few weeks after the birth and the normal bleeding period. I would push your doctor or speak to your midwife or health visitor if only to put your mind at rest.

  4. I have had two children myself in the last five years.  Let me start by saying CONGRATULATIONS!  my first thought would be did you have your baby c section or was this a normal delivery?  when i had my c section i believe that i only saw blood for about two to three weeks the most and it was just like having a period.  i believe this was because the doctor when performed the surgery, he removed alot of the tissue and blood already.  when giving birth naturally this obviously doesnt happen.  your body has to get rid of it all on its own and let face it, everyone's body is different.

the best advice i can give you is that it is YOUR body!  you must stay healthy now no matter what, your a mommy!  if you feel that this might not be right, just the slightest thought go see someone.  if your doctor cant see you go to the hospital!  they will not think your crazy, you just gave birth!  that is very hard on the body and they know it!  they will take your concern seriously and tell you what you need to know!

best of luck and cherish that baby they grow up so fast!

  5. after your pregnant u have your period for about a month maybe more. if your really concerned wait a few more weeks and if it doesnt stp then go to your doctor. you can get bloated while your on your period so that might be y..
