Hello Premtech. I hope you reply to me. I believe you are one of the best if not the best on this site. My tv used to blink on standby about 10 times before clicking on, with no blinking picture on and off about two months ago. Now standby blinking has been increasing to about 120+ times when cold less when hot before clicking on, with picture blinking on and off all the time now. The brighter the picture the more frequently the blinking about every 2-4 seconds. With the brightness turned all the way down and a darker tv picture over all, the blinking would stop or blink a lot less frequently until a brighter picture came back up. The picture quality is still great like new and can't afford another tv. I'm tired of keeping picture dark and blinking all day long when brighter pictures come on.
On PCB on back of tube I've turned up RV1791 s***w adjustment a little before horizontal lines show up, but picture still blinks just a little less frequently. I resoldered 7 bad solder joints on resistors and other joints next to flyback transformer. I'm still getting blinking picture problem.
Please help me pinpoint specific components and where to check and replace on PCBs. THANKS
