Blocked Searches?

Question

I have started using Windows Vista on my laptop and have had problems with the yahoo search engine. For instance when completing a search for "s*x Pistols" the results came back with the following:-

"We had temporary problems searching for web pages. Search again for s*x Pistols or type a new query above"

I have checked all of the parental filters etc and none of them are activated. Does anyone have any solutions to rectify this problem.

It worked fine on my yahoo search. I did it plain as well but since it came up that way, my alternate suggestion would also bring it up for me so I have no way to check ahead of time for you. Try putting it with quotation marks around the term you are searching; ex:  "s*x Pistols". See if that helps because it makes it an inclusive term rather than individual words.

Yes, Yahoo search engine is pretty poor compared to Google.

Type www.Google.co.uk into your navigation bar at the top of the page. Good luck and have fun.
