Question:

Blood tests to marry in Mexico?

After reading the posts on a number of questions, i am still unsure as to what doctor preforms the blood test. I am from Canada, so obviously, I would prefer my own doctor to stick a needle in my arm. Is this possible?

Additionally, does anyone have any links that would provide more info?

Thanks

  1. See the 3 websites below for info.  First answerer is correct about the blood test.  Same for the x-ray...you just go to a private x-ray lab in that town.  The labs do a fine job...no need to worry.

  2. There really is no need to worry about having a Mexican doctor sticking a needle in your arm.  Most horror stories you hear about medical care in Mexico is usually from freelancers that might not even have a degree.  Just go to any established lab, they will take good care of you.

  3. Oh come on! You just go to any of the medical labs which abound in Mexico and pay less than $10 US for them to draw blood with disposable sterile equipment. You can get the results the same day.
