Board game????????????????????

Question

we have to create a game board

it has to bo oedipus themed

and it has to involve fate and chance

i was thinking chutes and ladders but nothing else comes to mind

can you please help me

if you dont know who oepdipus is then just think of hercules hes sorta like that but different

Make fate cards that determine places to visit.  Then have a spinner to determine what happens when the pieces get there.  The board should look more like clue than chutes an ladders or monopoly.  For each turn a player picks up a Fate card to move to the location mentioned.  Then have a chart to reference to the spinner to determine what happens.  Good luck.

Have a game with many pathways leading to one goal. One component you absolutely require is a sphinx. Fill it with riddles. In order to traverse a path, a player would need to answer a riddle..

Along the pathways, you could have fate and chance squares where you draw a random card which would have various effects like moving you to another spot on the board, or switching places with another player. Players should have tasks to perform by the time they get to the end. (Kill father.  Marry mother. Draw Gods' Decree card).
