Boat engine?

hi, i have brought a 1990 31ft regal boat (14.1 Tonnagewith twin stern engine.but understand that the engine is under power.what should i do? change a re-cond engine (where to get one in singapore) or any better suggestion? Mercrusier 250kw

I think the old saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it!" applies here. Also "A boat is a hole in the water in which one throws money" also applies. It's your hole, put what you want into it.

What type of engines do you have:  Diesel or gas?  How big are the current engines?  What is the max engine rating for that boat?  What are you trying to accomplish; faster speed or more fuel efficiency?  Who says it's under-powered?  Many questions to determine before asking your current questions.

probably twin 260 h.p. but check your local regal dealer to be certain you have the correct drives for whatever engine you choose.
