  1. ALL gelatin is made form dead animals. THAT"S WHAT GELATIN MEANS.

It is not made from bone marrow. It is collected by boiling bones, joints, skin, tendons and other fun stuff that's leftover.

There is no such thing as vegetarian gelatin. There are alternatives to gelatin but they are never called vegetarian gelatin.

  2. im pretty sure it's made with crushed cow bones. i'll check for you tho! . . . .

  3. No, it's not a myth.  Whoever told you it's a myth is either ignorant or malicious.  Gelatin is made by boiling bone, hide and connective tissue.  It's disgusting, but then so is the fact that there's rendered animal in your toothpaste and your shampoo and your soap, too.

  4. Honey, it's not a myth, gelatin is made by boiling down animal parts like: cattle hoofs, etc.

  6. Unless you are completly vegan, almost everything we use and consume has animal products or by-products in them.  Even going organic, the most natural form of fertalizer is cow p**p.
