Boogie Woogie piano?

I need to learn to play boogie woogie like this guy

Can anyone here play this kinda stuff. How long did take you to learn? Are there any special techniques you can learn? I have been playing for 10 years but i really want to be able to do this. I'm kinda only stuck on the simple stuff at the moment whilst learning on my own. Any chance someone can help me?

Do you practice scales and exercises?  

It might be helpful if you can work towards putting your left hand in autopilot, and increasing the dexterity of your right hand.

Find Nevel Dickie and listen to his recording and if you are lucky see play in a live performance. I think he might have a web site. Pay close attension to his fingering technique!
