Question:

Book recommendations on neuroscience?

I haven't studied any neuroscience, but after reading "The Echo Maker" by Richard Powers, I've developed an interest in the area. I was looking for some accessible books on the way the brain works, especially in relation to the mind. I'm not necessarily looking for textbooks, but more science-for-the-masses kind of thing. However, I'm not totally opposed to textbooks, especially if it's a really good one.
