Does anyone know of any online bookstores that I can order my college textbooks from? I've tried half.com, but I always have little luck there. Thank you for any help! =)

  1. I have a hard time believing that half.com does not have your textbooks listed. I used them through five years of school and can count on one hand the number of times I couldn't find the books I needed.

textbooks.com is another source. amazon.com can be helpful too.

  2. http://www.efollett.com/

At least, that's what our college uses. Dunno if that would help but why not check it out.

  3. you are better off getting them through your school.  Our school provides them online and you pick them up when you get to campus.  check the school bookstore..../

  4. Here's a few.

You can buy them new or used from these sites:

    http://www.ebay.com

    http://www.textbooks.com/

Or if you want them new you can try:

http://www.Amazon.com (you can get second hand ones here as well)

    http://www.waterstones.com/waterstoneswe...

    http://www.barnesandnoble.com/

I buy all my textbooks secondhand because it's cheaper and you don't use them as much as you think you might, so it's a waste of money to get them brand new. And as long as you have the right book it doesn't matter if it's new or not.

  5. Make sure you match the ISBN numbers. Many of the books on sale on e-bay and amazon are out of date....older editions.  They will not match your course syllabus.  You can pick up used books at your college bookstore .... they sell quickly so you have to go the first day they're on the shelves.  Good luck with college!  (college professor)

  6. www.amazon.com is where I got my college textbooks once for literally a fraction of the original price, and they were used but still in very good condition.

  7. efollet.com might have it, but the books there are overpriced.

Try ebay. It's a bargain there. I just bought all my text books there for about $300. If i bought it at my schools bookstore or barnes & nobles I would of spend about $800-$900.
