Books like twilight series...?

Question

i absolutely LOVED the twilight series, actually that's and understatement. i just finished the last one last night, and am now looking for something new to read. are there any good books like twilight? I'm looking for more of the fantasy,action and love story mix (vampires not a necessity). i read harry potter too, which i liked, i think they both appeal to the same audiences. thanks!

The Vampire Chronicles by Ann Rice are really good.

1. Interview with the Vampire

2. The Vampire Lestat

3. The Queen of the Damned

4. The Tale of the Body Thief

5. Memnoch the Devil   ....enough to get you started.

I know they made movies of a few of these but as always the books are way better!

The Earths Children Series doesn't have any fantasy in it, but its still good too.

4 The Plains of Passage

5. The Shelters of Stone

This one has its dull moments, but if you can bear with it it has plenty of love and action and adventure that's worth it.

the gemma doyle trilogy is great, as suggested above, however i would also like to inform you that meyer is working on another book, this time from edwards perpective. it is called mid sun i beleive. im excited too, even though im not quite done eclipse!

These books have the fantasy of Harry Potter and the romance of   Twilight.

The Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray are great books.

1st book- A Great and Terrible Beauty

2nd book- Rebel Angels

3rd book- The Sweet Far Thing

These books have a variety of different themes intertwined-fantasy,romance, and action.

I would suggest the Blue Bloods series, by Melissa Marr.  I also suggest the Inheritance Cycle, by Christopher Paolini.

Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld

my friend bought Uglies and i bought Pretties we though it would be about teenagers trying to fit in and stuff, but we were soooo wrong. it take place in the future, but its really good. I love the twilight series too and Uglies is the #2 series for me.
