Is there anyway i could look up records of bought homes in my community?

  3. Real estate sales are a matter of public record, and are usually published in the newspaper the week of the sale. If your local newpaper has a website, go to the real estate section and look for a link to something referring to recent sales. You have to know approximately when it closed and the address of the property, but if you have that information, it should give you the name of the seller, the name of the buyer and the amount the house sold for.

  4. Real estate records are generally kept by either the County Assessor's office or the County Clerk's office. Just access their site on-line. There are generally good internal search engines for finding the info you need.
