  1. with my experience i've learned to throw harder you must get stronger, pushups and pullups are a great workout for upper body. you need to get a stronger core. when you punch properly you are twisting your body and your using your whole upper body. try planks and alternate ab excercises. for hand speed a speed bag will due just fine. shadow boxing is great for overall ring presence. you get to see how you look to your opponent and get to tweak yourself accordingly. also you might not be punching properly. learn to punch properly!!!!!!!!! for faster footwork you need to now what kind of fighter you are. im flat footed so i'm more of a puncher. jump rope until you cant go anymore. stamina i believe is more important than speed. but speed will come when your acheive greater reflexes. run and keep a higher pace than usual and stay light on your toes. its really about reflexes. i cant state enough... your abs are the key. stronger abs mean faster, stronger punches. i hope some of this works for you but sometimes to each his own!

  2. Well first off to throw a power punch you have to learn how to throw it right.  Bench pressing, shoulder shrugs, Punch out drills on the heavybag.

Clap hand push ups build power in your arms.

But if you dont know how to correctly throw the punch it aint going to matter that much.

and to try and type out how to throw punches correctly would just be too much typing.

eaiser there, has videos on how to throw almost all combos in boxing.

Your best bet for a knockout punch is a jab followed by a strait right or left hand. Best and most simple combo there is.

Learn to throw it and you will automatically hit harder just knowing how to throw it.

  3. shadowbox with weights (2lbs). shadowbox using bands too.  concentrate on technique, firing straight out as fast as you can with *CONTROL*.  do not just throw from your elbow. use your entire arm and shoulder (but dont telegraph).

use your hips!  turn that hip over -- that's where your torque comes from.  right at the end, when you connect that punch, turn your thumb down and snap that punch.  practice that in shadow boxing.

  4. Box underwater, ocean best because salt water is more buoyant and will provide more resistance, practice all your sidesteps, retreats and advances neck deep.

Shadow boxing with weights is good too.

  5. Shadow box with weights

your arms get used to there being this added weight they have to push forward, then when you take that away, they go faster

and it will help increase your muscle also thus allowing you to hit harder

    other then that

keep shadow boxing in mirrors to get your body positioning

eventually you will be throwing your entire body into a punch and people will be hurt

  6. shadowbox with 2 pound weights.

also, learn to shuffle and move your head very well and quickly, thats what makes me such a good fighter. and itr back and stomache thats makes it move not the dead.

    as for power...

get weights such as 15lbs and put them in both hands and walk back and forth throwing upercuts like rocky did. also do hooks and stuff.

email me, ill show u some more stuff
