Boxing- Combinations?

Ok, well I'm looking for new boxing combinations to improve my arsenal. I have the classic 1-2 (Jab Cross), the 1-1-2 (Jab Jab Cross), the 1-2-3-2 (Jab, Cross, Left Head Hook, Cross), the 1-3-2 (Jab, Left Head Hook, Cross), and the 6-3-2 (Right Uppercut, Left Head Hook, Cross).

That is as far as my combinations go as coming with stuff. Therefore I ask both boxers and non-boxers if they can give me good boxing combinations. Thanks!

  1. You didn't mention body work, and that is an absolute necessity to any complete boxer.

Double your left hook to the body, then head, it's a basic combination that you can build off of.  A left hook to the liver is as much a knock out blow as a right cross to the point of the chin when "delivered" (pun intended) properly.

  2. Try the following: Jab, Rt. uppercut - Cross, Lt. uppercut///

Jab, Jab, Jab, Rt. uppercut, Lt. Hook, Cross, Hook, Cross

Perhaps watch some boxing videos of past fights and take notes. See what worked for them and go from there. Use your imagination and practice, practice, practice.

  3. work some combinations that are directed at the body and THEN come back to the head. for example hook to the body than to the head.

  4. Milk Und Cookies

    Cut The Ffffffisherman Sssssome Slack

  5. best thing is to go to a boxing gym

plus combinations are endless you can think of much more than that. just mix up the punches.

    here are some examples...

lean left anf left bbody hook, right hook to the head, then left body hook again

lead right hand, left hook, right upper-cut

left jab, left hook, strait right

left, right, left the right hooks to the body, then go up top with left and right hooks

    etc, etc, etc
