Boyfriend Deploying for Iraq next month

Question

I was thinking of getting him a dog tag with a picture of us engraved on the front and then I wanted to put something on the back like " I love you, I'll be waiting" or something like that any better ideas of what i should have written on the back? Would he be able to wear it while he's there? Is this a good idea? Do you think he will like it? Any other ideas of what to get him? Thanks for the help :)

a pic he can keep in his pocket is always a good idea

Awesome idea.

He can at least keep it with him even if he can't wear it.

Make sure you write him everyday via email and at least one letter a week. He won't always be able to read or respond right away but it will give him something to look forward to.

Also, send him a care package that he gets upon arrival with a pillow case that smells like you or a blanket you made (fleece tie blankets work well).

get him an ipod so he can have tunes and pics. you could put some "nice" pics on there for him. im sure he'd love that.

Yes they will give him an address where you can send him Mail...

He doesn't need stamps as His Mail to you is "FREE"...
