Boyfriend at age 10?

Is it okay to have a boyfriend at age 10. MY cousin asked me this but i really dont know.

Well, no cos a 10 years old girl don't know how to be in a serious relationship and if she was dumped, she would denfinely don't know how to take this. So, no.

The sort of relationships you have at this age are nothing like the relationships you'll have in your teenage years, and nothing at all like the relationship you'll have as an adult.  At this age, it's just puppy love - it's little more than being friends who sometimes hold hands or trade little gifts on holidays.  You shouldn't be dating or trying to imitate the activities of older couples.

It's up the parents, really.  Both children should ask their parent's permission - what's appropriate for some children is not appropriate for others the same age.

Yes it is too young, she needs to grow up and not get tempted with all she sees on TV, she should definitely wait a couple of years. She cannot possibly understand the complexity that a relationship involves.

I had a boyfriend when i was 9-10-11-ish (and 6-7 but i'm not sure that counts as much at all!) and i'm not a 'tarty hoe' or whatever their called, we only kissed once, on the cheek and typically, i screamed my head off :)

The only mistake you can make is think that s*x is all grown up and try that out, i dont know form experience, but i'm sure that'd scar you for life and be.. well.. just plain wrong. But i'm sure your cousin dosn't think like that, she probably thinks holding hands and kissing on the cheek just seems fun :)

Naa it dosn't matter because its not really a 'sexual' relationship, its just being really really good friends and feeling grown up and adult, let her feel lucky shes not 13.. beleive me your whole life is just embarrasing by then, especially if your like me and all your friends are s*x obsessed and your really not..

r u guys kidding? its one of those "i love you wanna get married" little kid bf/gf things, the other day, i caught my 7 year old sister kissing her freind liam on the lips and it was just adorable, i had a bf in preschool, so she can have a boyfriend at age 10... if ur cousin is a he.... id get help

nobody can nderstand the feeling.... of love. people will think that young age do they really understand love?  but sometime you just can't explain the feeling of the heart.

having bf is no problem but at such young age to do the wrong thing such as having s*x is a great mistake...which most young people made.
