When I get my braces adjusted...what should I expect...in full detail. Do they take the braces off completely and start all over...since my teeth has moved since the last time? Meaning the brackets and wires?

does it hurt?

  1. Ok,

1.They take off old bands (colors)

2.IF needed which I doubt is to replace your wire for being too short or maybe you need a stronger type.

    3.They examine your teeth

4.then you pick out the color(s) you want...

they won't take out your wire unless needed...they will trim the wire which is painless..when they take off the bands it feels like all the pressure is gone...Then when they put the new bands on all the pressure comes back...be sure to take some tylonol...if you do get your wire changed it feels really weird...and ten, you know the feeling you had with the ring around your tooth?well that feeling comes back! And it doesnt hurt...it just feels weird!

  2. 1 They take off the old wire.

2 they "measure" a new wire for you.

3 They snap in the wire and clip the ends.

4 they put on the rubber bands

*somewhere in that time you choose what colour of rubber bands you would like.

They do not take off the brackets, thank goodness.

    I hope I helped!
