Braces Colors???

okay i am getting Partial Braces on october 7th. So tht means just the front 4 teeth on top. what color should i get?? Silver or Dark Blue [navy] or teal??

ALso some advice on taking good care of my braces and not gettoing yellow spots when they come off!!

dark blue deffo!! stay off acidic foods which cause them to go yellow, you dont want to have brilliant white squares where the braces have been!!

definitly dark blue. also just make sure when you brush to get in all the spots and ask your orthodontist about flossing

brush and floss often (when you floss move the floss inbetween the brackets)

and they arent kidding when they say dont chew ice

and silver its less noticeable and you wont look like a jack-o-lantern

teal sounds pretty cool to me...but i always preferred just the white or clear

taking care of your braces?

1. watch what you eat. stay away from gum/popcorn/hard candies/anything hard and really crunchy. everyone says you should stay away from it but they never do.....the reaosn you should is because you can very easily break a bracket off. i did this twice and then you have to go back, get it put back on and then that all extends your treatment time'

2. make sure you brush well...incircular motions to try to clean as much of your tooth as you can, and not just the brackets. also FLOSS every single day. yes it is a pain...but its so important cause its hard nough to brush your teeth when you have braces on.

3.always go to your appointments...if you dont, you wont get them off!

4. always listent o what your ortho tells you. for example, if you get welastics (i doubt you would cause youll only have 4 brackets..) always wear them exactly how your ortho ttells you to

yeah those are the basics...just use common sense about what you should and shouldnt eat

the yellow spots that you might seen once you get them off are just the glue that they use to keep the brackets on........

then they take your braces off theyll try to take off all the glue and in your case might even be able to cause you have so few brackets, however if they dont get it all off which is usually the case then you just book an appt with your dentist to get it all off.

after my dentist got all the glue off for me, my teeth were perfectly white without the use of a whitening system.

if you can get navy and teal together so you wont have a problem choosing and it will look awesome........................good luck worth brace's.You're lucky you get to pick the color i don't mine are silver......boring.
