Braces Question?............

ok, does getting your braces tightend hurt more then getting them on? and are purple and teal cool colors for braces? and its my first time getting them tightend.

ok, I just got mine off in june, and there's nothin' to it. The first week when you get your braces on they are super sore and you can't chew or anything, but when you get them tightened they may only be sore for about a day, but after awhile, you really get used to it. It also depends on what wires they're putting on. If they're putting on a lighter wire, it should barely hurt, if they're putting on the same wire as before, it shouldn't hurt, if they put on a heavier wire, then it will be sore for awhile, but they don't always change the thickness of the wire. For me, they only a few times changed to a bigger wire.

its about the same soreness but for less time. When I get mine tightened they only hurt for that one day, the next day, im fine. Take some Tylenol/Advil for pain.

NO it doesnt.

it will feel sensitive for half an hour after AND THATS IT!

It hurts about the same when you get them tightened as it does when your getting them on. In both cases your teeth are being moved. It sucks but its so worth it in the end. And yeah, I think that those are good colors. Cute :)

tightening hurts more than getting them on. just take advil or tylenol, and make the best of it. at least when you are done, your teeth will be straight :]. braces do suck, but once i got mine off, i loved how my teeth looked. tip:: you may want to eat after getting your braces tightened because its hard to eat later on because even with pain killers, it hurts to eat solid food for a day or so.

it hurts.

sometimes it hurts more than when you get them on.

and soon they'll do this thing where you get space between your teeth, with a piece of metal sandpaper that cuts into your gums.

It hurts like h***! But just take some Tylenol and you'll be fine, or just take it before you go to the ortho. The pain usually varies with 1-4 days (at least with me). With me it's about the same as when I first got them on.Teal would look pretty so would pink.

yeahh!! it hurts the same!! mine are hurtin now from 2 days ago!! and i have had them 7 months! :O

They hurt more the day after, they arent so bad that night :D

It hurts a lot. Sometimes they tighten it more than others and you will be able to see the difference.

Yeah it does sometimes cause the brackets are moved in a different possition than ur teeth.Yes those colors are bomb. Since its ur first time take advil or something before so it wont hurt afterwards.
