Braces does it hurt at all

SO IM GONNA REALLY NEED BRACES DOES IT HURT TO GET THEM PUT IM AND DOES IT HURT AFTER

It doesn't hurt but it makes you mouth sore and that makes it hard to eat food for a couple of days.

when you get them, try eating bread, jello, soup and anything that requires minimal chewing.

It hurts getting them on and tightened, but otherwise they don't really hurt. You forget about them after awhile.

yea........sort of hurts, specailly each month when u get adjusted...........plus u cant eat hard stuff for a few days after

Expect some pain because they are moving your teeth around in there but, usually it is more of an achy pain instead of a sharp pain.

Nope braces don't hurt. I got mine when I was 7 and I'm getting them again soon. But it doesn't hurt. It just hurts to get them off. And when they tighten them

yes it will hurt for a couple of days after but you will be fine. just take any painkiller to relieve you of pain.

They can hurt a little bit at first while you are getting adjusted to them. When I got mine they irritated my lips a little bit because I wasn't used to anything rubbing against them. Also any time you get your wires tightened you'll ache, but I used Baby Orajel and that helped quite a bit.

The pain for me wasn't intense, just a kind of constant ache for a day or two. It's definitely worth it in the end though, so try not to worry!

it really hurt to get the bands put on, and that disgusting thing that stretches your lips with hurt if they are chapped. once you get them on, it only hurts when you get them tightened. i got mine off last year. good luck!
