Braces???????

im going to the dentist next monday for braces and dont no

what thay well do??

The person above me is wrong, you do not always NEED spacers. I did not need spcers when I first got my braces. That was only in her circumstance.

When I first went, they took all my x-rays, then took a molding of my teeth, after they cemented on the brackets, then placed the wire in. And tadd-da! Braces! It feels really weird once you get them on. You will feel like you have this big lumpy thing in your mouth that you want to spit out, but you cant! You will soon feel my pain! The first day was horrible, the pain was unbearable. But after a week a so, you get used to your braces and the pain subsides. Like the dental assistant told me, your braces will feel like normal in a week!

They will drill big holes in your teeth Cassidy and install 2 inch thick wires in them............lol...just buggin' ya.

I used to have braces. Not too convenient, but you gotta do what you gotta do eh.

It will hurt a bit, but after a while you'll get used to it. You will have to go tp the orthodontist to get your wires changed every 2-3 months though.

Well, first you get spacers. (I have to say those hurt the worst)

They make space between your very back teeth for the metal rings they're gunna put in there. Then they use this really nasty tasting cement to put the square things on your teeth, then they put wires on ya. You change your colors every month, and get your wires changed/tightened every 2 or 3 months.

It hurts at first, but don't worry, soon enough, you won't even notice they're there. =}

First they should give you like an xray and dominstrate what they'll do to your teeth and how its going to move/shift, etc. and how long you'll have them.

Then they'll give you spacers (only if you need them) but if they do you should have them for about a month then

after that, you they make you brush your teeth then go to the chair then that's when the process begins. They put this tiny small metal things just to keeps the wires around your mouth. They put the glue on but the glue is so sour you just start to freak. After that they put the wires on and that's pretty much it.
