Breakfast important? ?

if you don't eat breakfast do you get fat or something. Can someone explain the whole importance of breakfast and if you should have it right away? Im confused. Thank you!

  1. Breakfast is very important b/c it gets your body started in burning fuel.  It boosts your metabolism, whereas if you skip meals your metabolism will actually slow down b/c your body is taught to store fat instead of using it.  Eating small meals throughout the day will turn your body into a furnace (healthy meals of course).  Think about it, you go all night, sometimes over 8 hours, without food.  Your body is literally starved and begins to think it needs to store and conserve fat.  You need to EAT to keep your body functioning properly and to keep a healthy weight.


  2. Breakfast is what helps you function during the day and when you don't eat it you feel hungrier so for lunch you tend to have more then you would normally because you are really hungry so your stomach gets bigger and you are even hungrier when it comes time for dinner so you overeat.

Yes, breakfast is very important.  You need a good and healthy breakfast with carbohydrates (bread, cereal, etc) to feel great the rest of the day.  Carbohydrates are good in the morning because you will have the entire day to burn them and on this way your not going to be fat because them.  Also, carbohydrates are good for your brain; they make you feel great and energetic.  

    My friend told me that her doctor recommended her a good breakfast with carbs and fruits; not heavy, I mean, light.  She was suffering of gases because she skept the breakfast and sometimes other meals; because of the she also had a big stomach eventhoug she eat a little.  This disorder stopped once she had a good and healthy habit eating.
