Breaking Dawn re-write?

I heard rumors Stephenie Meyer is re-writing Breaking Dawn because of all the hate mail shes ben getting for it, with an entirely different story line. Is this true or just a rumor?

woah. thats probably just some crazy rumor. i think shes working on midnight sun or whatever the one is about the whole book in edwards perspective.

She wrote a book called Breaking Down and its everything fans would HATE to happen for the ending of the series. I don't think she is going to publish it but thats probably what started the rumor about her re writing it.

She doesn't care that people didn't like the ending she did and thats all that matters. Several times she has said she doesn't write for other people she only writes for herself.

that is a rumor that I wish was true, but it's not.  go on her website adn if she was going to, she would mention that.  authors just can't do that though.
