Breaking away from partnership?

I am in the business of financial advising, and was a partner in a firm, i am now branching out on my own, due to amicable reasons, but what do i tell my clients so that they stick with me in my new business, without looking at this seperation negatively

  1. Thought I have no personal experience in this area, I'd suggest you focus on how excited you are to be stepping out on your own. Think of ways that you'll be able to serve them better than ever and focus on promoting those things to the clients. I don't really think it is necessary that people know your relationship to and dealings with your former partner. It seems like people will pick up on whatever you think or feel about the situation. If you come off apologetic or apprehensive, you might give people the wrong idea. If your attitude is one of excitement and confidence, it seems like you will be more likely to inspire people to follow you wherever you may be going. Good luck!


  2. it good you had gone alone. you do not have to give any explanation to anyone and if they like your work they will be by your side. you must heve self confident.
