my best friend is breastfeeding her 6month old son. i found out by accident that she'd done some cocaine earlier today wheni went to see her. SHe's absolutely crazy. Obviously I told her not to breastfeed her son at least for the rest of the day. But does anyone know how ong it can be before she breastfeeds him again without him getting any major amts of cocaine. she was really depressed and used to be a drug addict. IDK why she fell back into that if she KNOWS she's breastfeeind. but she wants to continue breastfeeding.

  1. I'm sorry, friend or not I'd be reporting her butt so fast It would make her little coke-head spin!

the welfare of that child should be you major concern here not the duration of her high!

as the mother of 4 children; and a BF mother at that, I'm completely disgusted! she's very selfish to do this to her child.

  2. Report her!!!!!! is she stark ravin mad?????,,, if breastfeeding isnt enough to stop her then maybe she did it while pregnant and the baby prob needs a fix of own anyway,,,

Sorry if i seem nasty but thats out of order she should be putting her baby first not her habit,,, maybe dont report her but get hersome help cos she seriously riskin her babies health like this

yeah do report her its wrong

  3. You need to take your friend to a rehab center. Save her and the baby.

  4. It takes 3 days to get out of your system, she should continue to pump the breast milk, and discard it so that her milk supply stays solid, tell her to supplement formula for a few days, if she breastfeeds today, her son Will get traces of cocaine in his system, hopefully this is an isolated incident, if it is not she should stop breast feeding all together, Good looking out!!!!

  5. Breastfeeding and drug abuse are never compatible! She needs to either quit abusing drugs or give her baby formula. The baby is getting strong concentrations of the drug via her milk! You need to call child protective services immediately.

  6. Call CPS now.
