Breezes dominican republic, advice please...

we are going to puerto plata breezes and have been before but if you have been can you guide us on the excursions from the reps and how much they cost? we want an idea for spending money and would like to do the horseriding and buggies etc, thomas cook cant tell us till we get there!!!

Me and My partner went on the buggies whilst we were there but didn't book with travel agent. We booked with the hotel and it worked out cheaper. I think it was about 10-15 dollars but can't remember exactly. We did that twice as we enjoyed it so much! I will advise that you bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty as we got plastered!

Another good trip to go on is the Outback Safari. Can't remember how much it cost but it was great fun! Our tour guide was brilliant and refreshments are included (mostly Rum). I think it was about 25-30 dollars. You also get lunch included and you can hold a baby alligator if you want, I did and it made one of my dreams come true - they do seal the mouth shut so it can't bite!

I will also recommend the Paradise Island as well. It expensive though, if you want luxury. If you don't mind going in a speed boat it costs about 50 dollars but if you want to go on a yacht it is much more expensive (don't know how much though, probably over 100 dollars). Refreshments are included (again plenty of Rum) and you get snorkel equipment and can buy underwater cameras, if you need it and you get to go into the deeper water with a professional diver and feed the fish banana bread. If you give the diver your camera he will dive down and take a photo of you feeding the fish if you want.

Brilliant place to go, we are going back sometime in the future for definite. The people are friendly but watch out for people trying to get business from you and beggars.
