  1. Interesting.  You can Google brethene and you may find some information there that may answer some of your questions.  Try Web MD and go to the drug mfg site and they may list some side effects that may occur to patients and in your case the fetus.  It may list long term effects too.

  2. Its spelled brethine and there is apparently a current lawsuit related to the birth defects it has caused: http://www.terbutalineattorneys.com/birt... .

So it seems like a possible cause of your medical problems.

It is a class B drug which means it has not been studied in pregnancy, but it is generally considered safe.

The march of dimes list the following as possible side effects on the baby: Fast heartbeat, high levels of insulin in the blood, low or high levels of sugar in the blood, enlarged heart, poor blood flow, low levels of calcium in the blood, jaundice (yellowish color of the skin and eyes), low blood pressure, bleeding within the brain or heart

  3. what is a styophec?  It is called SIDE EFFECTS.

I agree with the previous poster, google the name of the drug and it will probably give you information you want at web MD or some similar site.
