Question:

Bridal Flip Flops?

Has anyone worn these under their wedding dress? Were they comfortable? I'm not crazy about the thong flip flops (they hurt between my toes), so I'm willing to pay a bit more...

  1. i havent personally worn them sorry but they look absoultly comfortable  i say go for it if it was me i would even wear them for the ceromony they are simple but still very pretty no one will notice your shoes i say be comfortable and heck at the reception i just went barefoot cant beat that LOL hitch the dress up so it doesnt drag kick off your shoes and enjoy you night good luck and congratulations

  2. I love those and think they are beautiful.  I did something very similar with a pair from Target.  I switched about half way through the reception.

My only concern is have you ever tried them on?  I have a pair from glass slipper and found them to be one of the most uncomfortable pairs of shoes I've ever bought.  So make sure you've tried them on and wore them around for a while first.

Consider ones that aren't thongs.  Many people have slides.  It would still have a nice platform or wedge to it.

  3. Hmm....I dunno about those.  It seems like you would hear a *thwap, thwap* while you are walking down the aisle.  At least, that's what happened to me when I wore shoes like that just as an every occasion.  There also isn't anything to really hold them on while you are dancing and stuff.

If you can't wear thong style flip flops try to get something with a heel strap so it's secure.

Check into getting some satin ballerina slippers/flats  if you want something super comfortable as an alternative to heels.

Those aren't the best looking but you get the idea.

  4. whatever you are comfortable in would be fine!

  5. those arent my favorite but i think its pretty neat the whole flip flop idea. they have some flipflops that have a softer cloth that goes between your toes so you arent in pain the whole time and look a little nicer then those. but i love the idea of something fun for wedding shoes. im wearing custom made slip-on vans under my dress complete with lace and sequins. : ] just something fun that i always wanted to do.
