honestly ...I choose mine and my hubby song when we first got together and it was  called its your love  by faith hill and her husband .. i would choose a song that has meaning behind it

thanks a lot for making me cry!!!!!!!!!!! man those songs brought back memories. if your parents are happily married, i think saying something like in honor my my parents and their everlasting love for each other i wanted to honor that by having the song they had (or along those lines) i dont see anything wrong with it. other than that i love Journey and foreigner. congrats

I like Landslide by Fleetwood Mac, it's a good song for either father-daughter or Bride-Groom dance.

The most important aspect of the song should be the personal meaning it brings into your relationship.

For my father-daughter dance, I was thinking about a song that's very meaningful to both my father and I, but it is not considered "appropriate" for the dance, so I will probably choose something sappy to appease everyone that will lead right into "House of the Rising Sun" by the Animals... that way it pleases everyone.
