  1. Any two people over 18 can sign as witnesses.

    Hi from Saskatoon!

  2. If the MoH is not age of majority then she cannot sign a contract, no. Legally it doesn't really matter. Ceremonially it might.

Marriage law is somewhat by province btw.

  3. The maid of honor should sign. And I don't know about the age thing. Good luck with everything though!!!

  4. Anyone...I was a bridesmaid at my bro. wedding (13) so, I couldn't sign it....so someone else did.

  5. Anyone over 18. That person does NOT have to be a member of the bridal party - your parents can sign, a random guest, whoever.

  6. The MOH has to be of legal age to sign as a witness.

One way around this is to have her 'stage' the signing and then have another person over the age of 18 - your Mom? - to actually sign as a witness.

It doesn't legally have to be the MOH who witnesses, it just is traditionally.

Good Luck on you Big Day.

  7. you can have anyone over 18 be your witness but usually it is your maid of honor unless they are underage.
